Commissioned to paint many large paintings for a penthouse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Glenis spent almost 2 months in residence to complete this most enjoyable and rewarding task. Her works were mainly triptychs because of the large size of the works requested.

Using interior decorating skills, Butts innovatively filled a corner nook very nicely. A little difficult to hang, but well worth the effort.

Prior to 2004, Glenis was a potter for 20 years, both teaching and exhibiting her works. From 2004, she spent 4 years travelling along the East coast of Australia with her husband and during this time was forced to change from Potter to Artist. While on the road, she painted many works, including several portrait commissions.
